went down to the grumpy troll to pick up a few t-shirts, fill a couple growlers, and grab some bottles the other night...figured we might as well get a few snifters while we paid
appearance: served in a grumpy troll snifter, thin black body with no head or lace whatsoever
smell: bourbon and vanilla in the aroma, chocolate, espresso
taste: The menu says 12% but that is not what this feels like at all - very thin for the style and pretty tame...bourbon and vanilla dont stand up very well in this one and it just feels a little flat in general...nowhere near as good as the bourban barrel spaetzel i had a while back
mouthfeel: thin
drinkability: ok
