not sure how to classify this - described as a "belgian double with brett" at the brewpub, but that seems very misleading as this is a pale belgian
appearance: served in a standard pint- clear copper body, thick foamy white head with strong retention
smell: nice summer beer accented with brett yeast, apple, banana, peach
taste: nice surprise at the grumpy - very easy drinking summer beer with just the right amount of brett to provide a funky twist - apple, peach and banana add a fair amount of sweetness - grassy and a touch sour
mouthfeel: foamy and easily consumable, lightly sour
drinkability: good
