The beer is a dark golden/light amber color with a sticky white head. The aroma is moderately hoppy, mainly citrus and a bit of pine. The flavor is moderately hoppy, pine and citrus as well as a bit of cracker like malt. The body is medium and carbonation medium-high, a bit prickly. Overall a decent IPA.

on-tap, Grumpy Troll. also filled a growler to pair with some BBQ

appearance: on the darker side of the IPA spectrum - dark amber body, well retained beige cap

smell: resiny, moderate bitterness, evergreen, orange peel

taste: good IPA from grumpy - dark and bitter, citrus rind, caramel malts, bitter pine resin, toasted grains. we enjoyed this - solid ipa

mouthfeel: moderate-high bitterness, medium body

overall: good
