The beer is a dark amber color with a quickly diminishing off-white head. The aroma is medium-low caramel malt, a bit earthy, not bad, but rather weak. The flavor is moderately malty, caramel like, sweet, slightly nutty, all balanced out by a medium-low hop bitterness. It is pretty good, but I just want something more to hang my hat on, it gets a bit boring. The carbonation is medium and body medium-full. Overall a decent offering, but there are better beers to be had here.
