On tap:
Appearance: a filtered straw hay color with a film of white head. No sediment or floaties.
Smell: very heavy on the grapefruit citrus with noted of pine.
Taste: an absolute hop bomb with grapefruit, grapefruit, and grapefruit all over. The zest and juice in every sip. If this beer claimed to have added grapefruit, I'd believe it! Very bitter throughout her balanced out slightly by the malt.
Mouthfeel: lighted to medium bodied. Seems more "light" compared to other double IPAs. Not so sticky.
Overall: absolute winner. Very heavy in the grapefruit.

Stopped into the Brewpub while passing through town on our way through Wis. The server told me they just released this so I sampled a few over their offerings nothing spectacular, all solid but then lastly I tried this little gem. and Immediately ordered a pint. Appearance was a very nice amber color with nice fluffy head which dissipated rather quickly. Smells Pine and Citrus, Taste maybe just a wee heavy on the grapefruit but sure was delicious.
