500 ml bottles were surprisingly affordable at Total Wine, off the Beltway in Towson, MD. I know nothing about it other than that I've never had it and the bottle looks cool.
Pours gold, unfiltered and very hazy with a bright white head. If you told me this was a hefe based just on its appearance, I'd believe you.
Smells crisp. It's not super fresh but it wears its age quite nicely. Hay and grass along with some gumball sweetness.
Tastes like a fruity, slightly/pleasantly aged pilsener up front: very dry and malt-heavy with some nodes of flowers and fruit. A very thick honey flavor dominates the back end and balances things out. It's not quite like anything else I've ever had, yet it's still not so out of left field that it makes the beer unique enough to be worth seeking out.
A solid and very interesting European pils. Well worth the price of admission.
