Copenhagen 7/11 2018. 50 cl bottle from Ninkasira Bottlshop, Kbh N. Weightlifter exhausting himself with steam coming out of his ears.
Pours opaque dark brown with light tan head. Settles as lonely thin patch of foam sailing a dark sea. No lacing.
Aroma is spicy and smoky. Smoked malts with a solid hint of peat, salty, licorice, seaweed. Very maritime.
Very light carbonation. Slightly thick, almost flat texture. Light body.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by quite strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter, smoky and a bit salty. Lingers for a while.
More a Smoke beer than a Stout. If you are into peat and whisky this might be your thing. Works better for me with a higher ABV.

500 mL bottle. Black body with a big khaki head. Smells intensely smokey. Chocolate and meaty smoke. Tastes intensely smokey as well. Meaty as well. Some sweet chocolate, but dries out with more smokey. Back end is mouth-dryingly smokey. High carbonation, which makes it even more intense. I like smoke and this is just about as extreme as it gets, but it seems to work.

50cl bottle. Very dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Smells like peated whiskey and roasted malts. The taste follows the same notes, heavy on the peat. Medium to light body (feels a bit watery), low carbonation and a roasty bitter aftertaste.
