Look - 12 oz can, poured into an IPA tasting glass. Light golden in color, hazy, with a two finger head that mostly dissipates, though leaving behind considerable lacing.
Smell - citrus and tropical fruits, with some grassy notes as well. bold in smell.
Taste - light sweetness hits the palate first, with some alcohol detectable. hop flavor is present but not overpowering, and actually is more floral instead of citrus. finish is quite smooth, with a combination of some lingering hops and slight warmness.
Feel - medium bodied, above average carbonation, and a relatively strong brew at 8.2%.
Overall - a NE style DIPA that is flavorful, interesting, and incredibly easy to drink. a more than solid offering from Montauk.

Pours a hazy honey color with a smallish white head that settled into a light cap.
The aroma is of grapefruit and pineapple hops. A little dank but not much. Overall a nice bright hop aroma.
The taste is of a honey malt backbone with a blend of grapefruit, pineapple and pine hop notes. Nothing stands out as they blend well together.
The beer is well bodied and quite balanced for a double IPA. Slightly sweet at the start and slightly bitter in the finish. Drinks easy for 8.2ABV.
A well made DIPA. Hop flavors don't pop but it is well balanced.

The was surprisingly dank and full of citrus flavors, by far the best beer I’ve ever had from Montauk. Very smooth and sessionable for a double IPA, it hit all the right notes.
