Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off fairly quick. Light sliding lace. The aroma had some roasty malt, light nuts and a mild milk chocolate. The flavor had some roast and had some sweet. Then a grainy sweetness comes in that I didn’t mind, but that leads into the aftertaste and made it just a tad uncomfortable. Quick roasty sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Decent carbonation and the ABV felt fine, somewhat roasty grind into my tongue. Overall, decent porter but definitely grinds a bit more into my tongue. Maybe again.

A: The beer is very dark brownish amber in color. It poured with a quarter finger high beige head that did not fade away.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of roasted malts in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of roasted malts.
M: It feels a bit shy of medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and quite flavorful for the style. It has a simple but good smell and taste and would make a nice accompaniment to a meal.

A: Pours a clear medium to dark brown in color with some lighter hints of dark amber. The beer has a half finger tall creamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a thin layer over the entire surface of the beer with a slightly thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light aromas of dark roasted malts.
T: Light to moderate flavors of dark roasted malts with some light bitterness that lingers for a while.
M: On the lighter side of medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation.
O: Very enjoyable and easy to drink - definitely sessionable from a taste perspective but the ABV might be just a bit high to really be a session beer. Nice and mild...
