This traditional pale ale benefits from an addition of oatmeal making up 20% of its grain bill. A light golden colour and just enough hop bitterness is balanced by malty sweetness and a citrus aroma ranging from apricot, peach, or fresh cut summer grass depending on palate.

Clear gold. Aggressive pour required for a small head. Grainy malt nose. Barley and oatmeal body. Decent English hop finish. An interesting take.

Light pale ale, heavy Brett, citrus, great mouthfeel, no oatmeal. Strangely reminiscent of Orval.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of grainy cereal notes with light residual sugar notes is OK. Taste is a mix of grainy cereal notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not a big fan of the malt bill that was used in this beer.
