Pours a pitch black color, with a dense, mohagony brown head, revealing lots of tiny bubbles.
Smells of lactose infused milk chocolate, together with earthy coffee and a dough bready note. Above this hovers a pleasant layer of glazed caramel, adding a sweet note to the nose, together with a smoky whiff.
Has a higher carbonation, which still leads to a soft mouthfeel, due to a creamy chocolate quality, vanishing during the beers bubbly, slightly metallic finish.
Tastes of slightly sour earth, together with caramel and an effervescent carbonation. Creates an easy drinking, almost refreshing Porter, while remaining its rustic characteristics, amped up by cold pressed coffee beans, blending very well into the beers sweeter qualities. Finishes with even more prominent wooden coffee, revealing a decent herbal bitterness and metallic carbonation among earth.
Well made Porter, exhibiting a noteable coffee peak, while remaining easy drinkable and well balanced.

Pitch black liquid underneath a brown head that quickly goes away. The smell is really nice! Quite an intense mil k chocolate aroma that is paired to a smoky character. I am getting also a bit of the coffee but I am quite surprised this is not the dominant aroma! Also taste pleasant with a nice coffee/dark chocolate backbone that fuse together in a dry and yet persistent finish. Throughout the drinking I am not getting desensitised to the
whole equilibrium of the notes which is a good sign. The carbonation is low, enjoyable and appropriate for the style. Quite a nice beer!

Serving in glass.
Nice dark poor, frothy dark head that hangs around for a while.
Watery mouth feel.
Bitter coffee taste with just a hint of chocolate as well.
Ok beer overall, nothing I would personally go out of my way to get.
