Snagged a 0.33l bottle of this earlier on my trip at Liebick near München. Quaffed on the riverside in Bamberg on 26SEP15.
It was a slightly muted dark golden hue. Head was creamy and fine, light tan, leaving solid lacing. Had aggressive carbo shooting topside. Aroma was somewhat bready, with a smidge of florality thrown in. Body was medium, though it was very light, airy and prickly on the tongue.
Flavorwise, there was more bread, and some doughy action. Had some pear, green apple and honeyish sweetness to it. The dry finish threw in some floral hopping to top things off. Not bad! Prosit!!
