Pours a clear, pale straw coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light doughy malt and lactic acid, with hints of gooseberry and citrus as well. Taste is a decent balance of doughy malt and light lactic acid, with just hints of gooseberry and citrus zest coming through as well. Finishes with a light tartness and some lactic acid lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light body and medium carbonation.

This makes for a decent Berliner Weiße, but I've certainly had better. It just feels very mediocre overall, with nothing really standing out or making this a particularly great drinking experience. Its one saving grace are those subtle gooseberry notes from the Hallertau Blanc, although they are very subtle indeed, along with a light grassiness. while the tartness is quite light as well. At least it doesn't feel too sweet though, making for a refreshing, but somewhat dull drinking experience.
