Pours a cloudy, pale golden coloration with a large, fluffy, lasting head. Smells of doughy, wheaty malt, spicy esters and berry hops, with notes of white grape and clove. Taste is a great balance of doughy malt, spicy and fruity esters, with notes of apple, clove and white pepper, as well as berry hops, with notes of white grape and gooseberry. Finishes with a light bitterness and some apple, white grape and white pepper lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This makes for a pretty nice and easy-drinking Belgian Blone Ale with a good balance of hops and esters, although the esters could still be a little more prominent for the style. Nonetheless, the combination of spicy esters and fruity hops works out quite well here, with probably a bit of the opposite going on as well. Overall this makes for quite a refreshing and enjoyable brew that is just perfect for the coming summer months.
