Just a little bit up the street from Prestige sits this old Foremost store, hard to miss with a bright yellow awning and sign complete with the little dancing liquor bottle character.
First thing inside the front door was a rack of Three Floyds bombers (Arctic Panzer, Dreadnaught, Gorch Fock) and a big sign featuring the Dreadnaught label. So far so good. Past that is a long aisle of various 750s, bombers, and sixers, unfortunately sitting in direct sunlight from the front windows. This accounts for the poor quality score. Chimay 750s, Sam Smith lineup, a few other token imports. Along the back wall was a bank of coolers stocked tight with craft sixers including Founders, DFH, Grand Teton (Howling Wolf), and the latest Capital seasonal Hop Cream (turned out to be very fresh). I'd be sure to check dates and pull beers only from the cooler here though to be safe.
At some point I noticed there was a christian radio station playing fairly loudly... in a liquor store, seemed a little odd. Then I got to the counter where there was a less than discreet display of porno mags and weed pipes. Just about laughed all the way to the car after that. The indian guy at the counter was nice enough, though I didn't ask him what was up with the radio.
