Good barrel bitter.... not too hot or boozy, compliment each other well- wish it had a little more vanilla or toasted wood. That would have kicked it up a notch

Appearance is a brownish copper with golden edges. The half finger of head dissipated quickly. The nose certainly contained bourbon notes. After the first couple of sips, the bourbon flavor faded but it began to return as this beer warmed. Other than the bourbon flavor, this offering had a basic mild maltiness and a semi-dry bitterness that comes with this style.
This is a fine bitter – I’m just not sure the bourbon barrel aging works for such a low ABV beer.
