Pours a deep dark brown color with no appreciable head. The nose has notes of fresh raspberries, not the fake syrupy kind. There are raspberries in the flavor profile as well. But, there is no sign that this offering was barrel-aged. Furthermore, this is a stout that lacks a solid roast profile.
