Poured a deep dark brown color with over a finger of tan head. The nose is very roasty. The flavor includes big and delicious notes of coffee and chocolate upfront. There is also a distinct sweetness that may come from the coconut or from the chocolate. Either way, the sweet contrasts nicely with the hearty roast.
This is a great effort - it is a shame that it appears to be a one-off type beer.
