12 oz can, poured into solo cup. Picnic glassware
hazy amber colored, fluffy white head. nice big hop aroma - citrus, pine. taste has enough sweet malt to balance the fairly strong bitterness and moderate hop flavor. medium bodied.

Sampling a cold 12 oz can poured into a snifter. Beer is a gift from my bro Curt.
The beer pours a slightly cloudy amber color with some pieces of sediment floating in the glass. A fluffy eggshell white head foams up 3 cm and fades slowly leaving tight lattice on the glass and some large pockmarked craters on the top.
The aroma is very fruity with melon and grapefruit dominant, I also get mild toffee balance, but this is for sure a hop forward brew.
First sip reveals an average body with fine slightly tingly carbonation. The texture is smooth and the beer goes down very easy with each sip.
Flavor is sweet up front, but not malt more fruity hop with melon and maybe pineapple too. Then I get some toffee notes coming through and the finish is fairly bitter with grapefruit rindiness that lingers long after the swallow and seems to be a little more aspirin note. Finish is also very dry and my mouth thirsts for another sip. I dont get any booziness on the beer. Quite a nice drinkable IPA, although my can says 8% not the 6.9 listed here, so maybe it is more of a DIPA at this point. worth a try if you like hops and are in Pennsylvania.

Priceless can at Adamstown Beverage, Adamstown, PA. Well, not priceless, but no itemized receipt.
Undated can at 42 degrees into a hand washed and dried JK snifter.
Aroma – definite grapefruit but not overpowering.
Head large (Maximum 5.3 cm, slow controlled pour), off white, frothy, retention average, diminishing to an irregular three to nine mm frothy ring with three irregular frothy islands. Drag marks abound.
Lacing – fair. Irregular partial bands of thick frothy lacing.
Body – copper with a slight haze.
Flavor – approaching malty, only slightly bitter, the grapefruit promised by the nose is not delivered. No alcohol, no diacetyl.
Palate – medium, almost oily, soft carbonation.
Well, some of the promises on the can are met – there is some grapefruit on the nose and there are both less bitterness and more malty sweetness than the “typical” IPA. Both the promised peach and melon are absent, something I consider a good thing as I don’t really like either in an IPA. So, is this a bad IPA or just old? Got me. I grabbed this to fill a mixed six so it’s one and done.
Appearance 3.75, Aroma 3.75, Flavor 3.25, Palate 3.75, Overall 3.

Poured out of a can into lager pint glass...1.5 finger of head..very light carbonation yet lacing continued till the end of the drink...cloudy unfiltered look ..dark amber in color...light smell and taste of a good hop mix...easy drinking with a slight taste of citrus and a sweet finish...This is an IPA I could enjoy having more than one at a sitting...

This hidden gem of a brewery has some decent beer. The Havoc, is well balanced and worth picking up. Easy drinking, this is a well rounded, affordable beer. Tip it back and give it a try.

Pours a cloudy bright copper color with a finger of white head. The nose is nicely hoppy. The flavor falls short of the promise of the nose. The body is hearty for the style and there is a decent dry finish but the hoppiness is muted.
I'd call this a fine ESB but it is lacking as an IPA.

Very nice mouth feel. It's a little more bitter on the end than i like but overall it's solid. Strong hop profile.
