This is my first review and it's a day after trying this beer so not sure how good the review will be but the beer was very good. It was nice and dark and had a good dark taste to it without being coffee based. (I'm not a coffee fan so it's always hard to find a good dark beer without the bitterness of coffee as an aftertaste.)

This beer poured out as a deep brown color with a light brown head on top. The head settles and leave a thin film on top of the beer with a scattered lacing. The smell of the beer is earthy, there is roasted malt aromas and hints of chocolate too. The taste is also earthy with a rustic essence to it. The flavors are nicely balanced and gets progressively better with each sip. The mouthfeel of the beer is smooth, medium bodied and very drinkable. Overall it's a damn good porter in my opinion.
