A Belgian ale with a sweet malt complexity and a pleasant alcohol. Be careful... this Rascal will catch you off guard.

A - Pours a hazy raisin color with a lot of carbonation and no lacing at all.
S - Belgian yeast, bready, prunes, figs, raisins.
T - Dark Belgian candy sugar, raisins, figs, dates and some booziness.
M - Medium body that's a tad on the thin side, some alcohol warming on the way down.
O - Decent but not what I expected for a Quad.

Appearance is a hazy light brown with golden edges. There was only a thin film of head. The most striking flavor characteristic is a malty sweetness that diminishes somewhat on the finish.
This offering is very drinkable for beer with a 10% ABV.

Poured out as a light brown color with a thin white head, the smell is sweet some decent malt aroma with a fruity peanut butter... Interesting. The taste is the beer is sweet with malt, boozy dryness with a slight bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, decent carbonation and drinkable. Overall it's a good brew.
