Served in Nonic. Poured a typical medium orange-gold color, with just the thinnest lacy ring of a head, with no retention, and very light lacing.
The aroma is a bit sweeter than is usual for a PNW IPA, and had a slight sour note. The hops didn't have much personality, and the malt was just sweet without having any grain aspect. Same on the tongue, except for the slight sour tang, a low personality beer.
The body was decent, but the malts were a bit thicker than I look for in an IPA, and was very sticky-sweet at the finish. Drinkability wasn't this beers strong suite either, I'm nearing the end of my review, and I'm not quite half-way through the beer. Overall, not a truly "bad" beer, but one that doesn't push any of my buttons, for this style. If you're visiting, we have many superior IPAs for you to try, if you're local/regional, give it a shot, it's only one beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
