I love green chilies. And even though it sounds horrible, I thought, "Why the hell not?" To my surprise it taste decent. Wasn't foaming, so I poured a little harder than normal. Medium gold in color. I can really smell the green chilies. The taste of the chilies is the star of the show, and while the side of the bottle mentions peach, and I can definitely taste it too. Very fruity and vegetable-y. Some matliness, but the flavors of the chilies overpowers it. Light in body. Not a full review, but this beer needed more opinion on BA, so I thought I'd type up a quick one. Decent. And surprisingly not gross. I'd buy again.

Fabulous green chile aroma. Golden amber with plenty of foam in the snifter. Spritzy mouthfeel with a little spicy tingle and a little oily. Deliciously flavorful but light ale.
Flavor is a little sweet, which seems to work well. It would be a pretty insipid Blonde without the chiles. This is not actually hot by most standards. There is some vegetable flavor along with the aromatic warmth of the chiles. A little tangy and slightly bitter for the finish. Something of a tannic note. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

Served from 22oz bottle
A — Pours a light and very clear pale yellow color. Thin white head doesn't last too long. Minimal lacing left behind.
S — Smells of big freshly roasted green chile, fresh, green, pungent, bright, not much else overall.
T — Big green pepper and chile notes, not very spicy, just fresh green chile kick.
M — Light to medium bodied, OK.
O — Very much a chile forward beer, no real spice though.

I love green chiles, and I love good beer, so let's see what happens when you put the two together.
In appearance and mouthfeel, this is a pretty typical light ale (blonde, I guess, is the more accurate term).
The green chile first greets you in the aroma. It doesn't overpower you, but it's the dominant theme. Then the taste is more green chile, but again, not overpowering. There isn't any real chile heat to speak of. This beer reminds me of some pumpkin ales, where the pumpkin is a solid background for the beer without completely taking it over. That's the role of the green chile here.
In short, if you like green chile, you'll find it here. But if you're not a green chile addict, you still might find this an interesting variation on a standard blonde ale.
Nicely done.
