Deep amber color with a nice big head, good retention.
Sweet nose with some cracker and orange.
Taste is not as sweet as the nose suggest, slight lingering bitterness.
Feels a bit flat.
Overall an enjoyable beer.

Cinnamon tinted head; dense, lingering a minute or two. Color reminds me of unfiltered apple cider. Bready aroma. Smooth. Perceptible malt balanced with hops.

From a 12 fl. oz. can. 2018 batch. Sampled on September 2, 2018.
The pour is an attractive looking deep amber brown color with decent clarity and a large foamy white head, Lingers.
This emits the kind of aromas that are expected with the style including a crackery, toasted caramel malt sensation, sweetness, molasses, and a low profile hop character.
The body is light to medium.
Overall, a balanced Marzen with sweet caramel malts and earthy hops to tickle the taste buds. Quaffable. True to the style.

The beer pours a dark orange, bordering on brown, color. And hazy. A large creamy head, both in color and consistency that dissipated quickly.
The smell is sweet. A little bready. Very little.
Malty and sweet. reminiscent of root beer, yet with a metallic after taste.
Very heavy for the style, low carbonation.
All wrong for the style.

12oz. can: This one pours a fairly clear amber color. There was a small off white head that didn’t linger long or leave much lacing. Nice but lighter nose. Some fruits, breadiness, malts and grain. Even a faint roastiness. Some bitterness. Very smooth. Another solid beer from them.
