Poured from a bottle marked best by December 2018, into a tulip glass.
Reddish brown color, almost no head lacing. Sweet caramel smell and taste. Malty and boozy. Some pepper and cinnamon. Not bad, but I doubt it is something I will get again.

Poured into a pint glass, pretty copper color with no head. Very little carbonation. Not much nose, maybe it was too cold. Malt, toffee, and caramel with a nice mouth feel. Despite the higher alcohol content, it wasn’t very noticeable.

Enjoy by 7/16. It pours with low carbonation, but there's just enough to carry the beer. It's a big caramel bomb of toffee, light roast, and, well, more caramel. Reminds me more of a big malty English barleywine, tho the brewery describes it as a strong Belgian.
