Jan. 2015: 330 ml bottle, as Birradamare ’na Biretta de Castagne, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 5.8%. BB date 07.2013. Pours fizzy with a low white head. Deep golden to amber colour with floaties. Unfresh aroma of chestnuts and smoke.The medium dry flavour has notes of smoked meat and nuts, hardly any noticeable hops. Might have been somewhat better as fresh, but I doubt that it would be worth the money under any circumstance.
