Copper and cloudy, lots of carbonation and a solid foamy finger of head.
Floral, dried hay, apples.
Apples, floral, light fruitiness mostly like apples.
Medium body with super foamy, powdery carbonation.
Great bottle and label, really unique brew. This one's now called 'Ambrata.' Got on wish beer, drank in Chiang Mai Jan 18, 2016. Really unique brew, unlike any Marzen I've had. Almost a Belgian pale ale in many ways.

From the 11.1 fl oz bottle stamped 11-2013-426. Sampled on December 25, 2013.
Cloudy brown pour with a long lasting, creme colored head. Moderate carbonation.
Fascinating aroma of malts and cooked vegetables for lack of a better description. Also kind of buttery.
Oily, chewy but medium body.
The taste has this odd buttery character overtaking the German malts with mild sweetness and little to no hop finish. It seemed to be missing something but I didn't dislike it.

This beer poured out as a murky burnt orange color with a cream colored head on top. The retention and lacing are both minimal. The smell of the beer has a decent malt backbone to it with some earthy tones to it and a subtle sweetness. The taste of the beer is earthy as well with a decent bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is pretty smooth with a bit of a creaminess to it. Overall it's a decent Marzen style, it's not the best one out there but not bad.

11.1oz, though the bottle looks like it could hold 500ml. Lots of glass in that bottle.
Cloudy cider orange pour, good layer of off white. Some lacing.
Aroma, Heavy apple, caramel apple. Some bready malt.
Taste, a little apple and pineapple. Some hay and light bready malt again. Buttery Werthers original. A toasty malt finish.
To the heavy side of light bodied. A little higher carbonation but not really noticeable. Drinks very easy. Enjoyed it, wish bottle held more.
Kind of a lighter take on the style, not bad, just different.

Pours a cloudy reddish-amber with a thin head into my glass. Cloudy? Hmm. Might be bottle-conditioned?
Sweet, grainy malt with a crispness to it. Still fairly fresh so I don't smell anything out of the ordinary.
Sweet, crisp malt that really comes to live in the mouth. The carbonation really helps animate the breadiness of the malt. It's just right as far as sweetness is concerned.
Lingering dough flavors with just a bit of chewiness. Very interesting interpretation of the style.
Check it out for something that's a little different than expected.
