Bright Amber with a lot of carbonation and a white head.

Roasted malt and caramel both in aroma and taste. The taste finished with some floral notes also.

Medium body

Overall a decent beer. Much better options for Oktoberfest beers but not bad.

Appearance: Slightly hazy , deep amber brown in color, with a massive, dense white head, and moderate carbonation. The head retains very well, the lacing rings the glass walls.

Aroma: Roasted malt and sweet caramel dominate the aroma, there are also notes of biscuit. There are also restrained herbal hop notes.

Taste: Opens with sweet caramel and toasted malt. As the taste progresses, the toasted malt takes precedence over the sweet caramel, which becomes an undercurrent in the taste. Finishes with a blend of caramel and toasted malt, and a hint of spicy alcohol.

Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, very pleasant.

Drinkability/notes: A very well-crafted example, simply excellent.

Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce brown glass bottle, with a pop-off crown, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.

Clear caramel copper colored pour with a dense one-finger off-white head. Light malty and sweet aroma. Taste is somewhat sweet with a bit of caramel upfront backed by biscuit and grassy hops. Medium bodied.
