Poured from a 12oz bottle (no bottle date) into a weizen glass.
LOOK: Pours with a finger's worth of white foam that shrivels down into a line after 45 seconds. Gold in color with no murkiness (that is not a good look from a hefeweizen). Rising bubbles are moderate. The lacing is nigh non-existent.
SMELL: Mild aromas of wheat and barley are up front. Subtle clove aromas along with hints of spicy hops and bananas can also be detected.
TASTE: Mild wheat and barley flavors enter the palate first along with subtle clove flavors. Mild lemony zest and hints of banana flow in right after the initial flavors as all flavors persist except for wheat, which totally give up and die. The hop flavors that were detected by my nose are not even in this taste equation.
FEEL: Horribly light-bodied and until the end, extremely over-carbonated. Despite being so light-bodied, it doesn't even go down smoothly, instead, somehow it feels syrupy. It does, however, have a great crisp finish to it.
NOTE: This was hardly a hefeweizen. I would strongly encourage and challenge this brewery to go back and improve their recipe. No hefeweizen should look, smell, taste, and feel like this.

Looks, smells and tastes like a hefe-wiezn. Lightly carbonated golden clouds of goodness.

This is an excellent here. I would say Live Oak Hefe is better, but this gives it a run for its money.

Nice light Hefeweizen with just a hint of lemon.

12 oz bottle courtesy of fthomasl pours a lightly hazed gold color with an uncharacteristically fast-fading white head that barely has time to leave a few smidges of lace.
Nose is pretty good - cloves, banana and bubblegum. Good, clasic hefe aroma.
Taste is a little thin, the sweet wheat body is not there. Has a nice yeast flavor but just not enough of it. Pretty watery. Drinkable with a few nice characteristics but overall a sub-par hefeweizen.
