On tap at Pfriem.
A hazy brown with a dense, beige head with solid retention and lacing, this looks good. The nose is great. A beautiful caramelized banana aroma with a little bit of clove, a touch of cocoa, honey and burnt toast. The palate opens light in body with crisp carbonation, carrying flavors of burnt toast and caramelized bananas, rich and deep. This is followed with some buckwheat honey and bread. Strangely, clove is underrepresented on the palate. Again, the mildly mineraly, calcined character I've gotten from several Pfriem beers in the past is present here as well. All told, though, this is a solid effort.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
