Poured gently at 45°F from a 375ml bottle (bottled on 11Dec15) into a tulip. Consumed on 09Sep16.
SMELL: Mild aromas of green bell pepper, hay, earthy yeast, tobacco, sweet peach, white grape, and pear are supported by subtle aromas of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, and hints of sour green apple.
4 out of 5
TASTE: An instant balance is established as flavors of mild green bell pepper and sour green apple enter on to the palate. A mild funk immediately follows from flavors of tobacco, hay and earthy yeast while the tartness grows slightly more noticeable. Subtle flavors of peach, pear, and white grape add a splash of fruitiness as the earthiness of the brew increases. A subtle citrus shower enters lastly with flavors of grapefruit, orange, and tangerine just as the peach, pear, and white grape flavors grow somewhat stronger.
4 out of 5
NOTE: A solid beer. I thought this more of an American rendition of a Saison than a Belgian Pale Ale given the tartness, hay, and earthiness. I suppose the funk from the Brettanomyces can be thanked for that. It was an overall mild beer, but I did enjoy this. This has me curious about their other offerings.

Cloudy amber brew with abundant foam. Reminds me of french cider, so sparkly and bubbly. Sharp on the tongue. Amazingly carbonated. Ought to cure something, or maybe pry one open when you've had too much beany mexican food. I guess I'd have to say this is the ultimate Belgian club soda.
This is the clean, classic Brett flavor. No hint of tartness, but still quite zingy, almost acidic. Aromatic with that distinctive yeasty tang. Hints of pear and apple but very dry. Overall this is quite likeable with the malty taste and grainy sweetness in the first sip. Almost austere with a mineral finish. From the 500 ml corked bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham, Wash. Bottled 11-18-15, six months ago.

Cloudy orangey yellow with other an appropriate rocky white head. Aroma hints at tartness and "funk", as the flavor follows with big grassy and hay-like flavors, with an earthiness, subtle spice and even a touch of pitted fruits to follow. Bright and full feel. Refreshing, unique, and delicious. Cheers!

Pours a hazy golden color with a white head. Nice carbonation and lightly tart. Some funky, sour notes although I poured it at a colder than ideal temperature. As it warms in the glass, it becomes a bit more complex.

Easy drinking brett ale. Light on all the characteristics you would have expected. Needs some barrel aging to really impart some flavor. The brett yeast being the only real flavor here and all we get from it is a lot of carbonation.

I had this beer on-tap in a goblet at Beveridge Place Pub in Seattle.
Appearance: orange hue with a moderate haze and a thin layer of ivory foam. Not too bad.
Smell: lightly tart and funky aroma with a little bit of a floral character. Enticing!
Taste: smooth and malty with a dash of butteriness and a nice light funk. Hops are noble and lightly bitter. I like this beer a lot.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess. Quite satisfying.
Overall: not super funky, but just enough to give this beer a nice complexity. Good stuff.
