This is the second edition of this beer - a collaboration with/exclusive to Zupan's Market. Canned 2/16/2023.
Pours gold, with a slight copper tint. Completely clear, with moderate carbonation. Moderate lacing. The aroma is more fruit-forward than a self-described "West Coast IPA", but some of the pine resin still comes through. The taste is well-balanced (if - once again - not exactly West Coast), with an initial hit of bitterness, then some mango and grapefruit notes, all enough to even out the malt backbone. Finishes a little rough, with more heat in the throat than expected for 6.7% ABV. Overall, an enjoyable fresh IPA.
