Bottle shared with Toby and Jeremy. Pink color, head disappears instantly. Bright, full strawberry aroma. Taste is more of the berries with a splash of tartness. Sweet and tart.

Appearance: beautiful! Amber with a slight hue of pink. Wonderfully bright! Very spritzy when poured, but the head fades immediately to nothing. A slight carbonation in the body is the only indication this isn’t a still beer.
Aroma: funk and super menthol/plastic; chemically, like fresh plastic off-gassing. Band-aid like. This is a potent funk. The strawberries are very light but noticeable. The funk dominates any other aromatics.
Flavor: the menthol funk is overpowering. It takes a few seconds to process, at which point the sour kicks in. The sour is medium in intensity – spot on. The strawberries are light, only noticeable in the finish. Well done on the fruit.
Mouthfeel: light-medium, lighter than the 6.4% abv would suggest. This is a gassy beer – a mouthful will inflate your mouth. Warm-soda like carbonation.
Overall: this beer is well done in appearance and mouthfeel, but the aroma and flavor are so over-the-top menthol funked that it severly compromises the beer. I wouldn’t buy this one again. The funk is so unpleasant, I almost am forced to believe that pFriem released this beer to avoid taking a financial loss on it. This funk strain is too potent and doesn’t contribute any enjoyable flavors. I’d love to try this beer again with a different Brett strain.
