Really nice smooth beer, so glad I had the chance to try it. This Hop is very unique, flavor profile of which I've not encountered before, the northwest is killing it with their hops these days. Seek this beer out if given the chance.

the latest beer in their single hop pale ale series here features the 692, which i still cannot believe hasnt been named. i feel like its so awesome and distinct, and that its been around a couple of years already, whats the holdup?! either way, its amazing stuff, a hearty but simple base pale ale with a clean fermentation profile and a really pale malt built, perfect for showcasing this hop, or any hop, and lots of it. this hops has some crazy flavor notes, almost like a berry smoothie or something, hints of strawberry and blueberry, pineapple, lemongrass, and fresh green grass, its super fruity, and very little of that is citrus character. there are even ripe peach notes when i taste this, but one thing i like about this is that it has a little bitterness too. its not all juice, and so while its still a nice spotlight on this hop, its also objectively an excellent pale ale, independent of the specific hop character, a little snap in the drier finish, really nice. whooshing carbonation, fuller feel for the style, berries and stone fruit at the end from the hops, and a unique flavor that lasts a little while on my palate. awesome pale ale overall, and this hop seems super versatile to me, it can bitter a little, its full of flavor, and obviously its world class as a dry hop. always a blast to drink beer at pfriem!
