Look: Lightly opaque burnt orange with an awesome-looking silky white head that holds as a lid and slowly settles, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Candied orange, strawberries, papaya, mandarins, passionfruit, some mango, sweet bready malt, blueberries, and Cannabis
Taste: A multitude of berries – blue, straw, rasp, and goose – along with tropical fruit scream onto the palate and soon after, citrus fruits weave in and out of the picture. Nice bready malt holds throughout and closes with some dank and more berries
Mouthfeel: Full, very light slickness, medium-high carbonation, and a nice bite with a very mildly dry finish
Overall: I’m digging this one. I’m a huge pFriem fanboy but their label description was dead-on when they labeled this as a tweener IPA/DIPA beer as that’s exactly how it comes off. Great tropical, berry, and citrus notes throughout and enough malt to differentiate from a regular IPA. A delicious taste adventure and one I’d easily do again. Recommended

Dominant aroma of fruit and flowers, thick head, solid lacing. Intense taste, viscous mouthfeel, more fruit, more hops. Take small sips to enjoy layers of taste unfolding for you. These guys just not capable of making a mediocre beer.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with light coppery tones and a fine three finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, mango and pineapple. Flavor is caramel malt, citrus, tropical and piney hops, orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango, berries; a little pine developing into a moderately bitter, but still resinous piney and citrus finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. Tons of aromatics on opening the bottle and the aroma in the glass is really fine, leaning heavily to orange notes. Flavor is also citrusy and tropical at first giving way to more orange and pine in the finish. I was a little disappointed in the somewhat laid-back bitterness at first, but oddly there was more distinct alpha oil character in later sips and this was well within my craving for a solid bitter finish for IPAs. Lots of herbal hop smell and taste as well as a nice mouth feel. Looked around for another bottle of this, but it seemed to have been a limited distribution. I'll watch for it again in the future.

Stupendously aromatic with orange peel, tangerine, and a nose of papaya. Very citrusy. Moderately sweet but with the perfect gentle bite of hoppy bitterness like a good marmalade. Bitter orange peel in the aftertaste. Lush carbonation with a sharp edge. Not overly acidic, just intensely fruity hops.

Not overly alcohol tasting. Just super citrusy and long on the aromatics. From the 32 oz crowler filled at Whidbey Beer Works. Had one a few days before and stopped on the way back for another. Seems like pFriem just cannot make a mediocre beer.

500ml bottle from Roth's Market in West Salem OR.
$5.99
Lovely looking beer in my Freiburger pilsner mug. Bright gold/orange body with a stunning creamy/thick off white head.
Aromas pretty intense. Mostly citrus type. Orange, pineapple, mandarin.
Taste is the same as the nose..so citrusy! Should have it with breakfast!
Mouth feel is great. Medium thick and medium carbonation and it avoids the cloying sweetness of many high alcohol IPAS.
Excellent beer...really drinkable ( not a bum IPA)
