unique new one from these guys, more hops than coconut, but this is definitely flavored. seems pretty simple in terms of the base beer, pale two row barley and maybe nothing else on the grain side, clear honey colored with an average white head from the tap, looks nice, well refined. it smells clean on the ferment, not real bitter from the hops, and brightly fruity, some neat fruitiness from the hops then, cool with the coconut, i get lime, white grape, yellow peach, and zippy grapefruit zest, kind of strange even with the coconut, but it works, cool hop selection for this, uncommon even, but still some almost cocktail vibes here, grilled pineapple, something sweet and cooked in the center of this, i like that i can taste the grain but its simple in a good way, and the coconut has a toasted aspect that gives this beer depth it might otherwise be missing, smart call, and it doesnt take away from the freshness this has either, just nice back and forth there, real drinkable beer, great carbonation, clean bitterness on the swallow, lighter medium body. excellent execution, clever hop selection, and as smartly crafted as all of their beers. i love these guys, they do so many things well, and i enjoyed this a lot, almost refreshing for having so much flavor. yum!
