cool modern west coast type ipa with bigtime fruity notes in nose and taste, thiolized yeast in the mix here im sure, its bursted and up front and punchy like that, really vibrant and not green or bitey at all, intensely flavored but delicious. clear and golden, delicate looking for what it is, airy and lasting white heap, wispy and lacy. there is a real candied thing to the hops here, starburst, fruit striped gum, those plastic tube popsicles that freeze weird, fresh kiwi, sauvignon blanc, and light herbal grassiness. the way this hits the palate is similar to beers ive had with those omega thiolized strains, so thats my guess on this, totally transforms the hops, whatever they use, its new school and richer feeling for a lighter beer without much grain influence. honey stickiness and some weedy dank too, orange essence, honeydew melon, fruit cereal, lemongrass, and papaya notes as it warms, rising dough and general earthiness too, champagne, yellow flowers, simple cereal base. this is great ipa, and its so drinkable, this is the future too, i bet a lot more like this emerge in the years ahead. no surprise pfriem is at the forefront. this is on the edge of super bold, but its easy down at the same time. nice build, nice technical skill on display, this should do real well for them! already better than others trying to do the same thing...
