Crafted with purpose, Earth Day IPA combines Oregon-grown, Salmon-Safe hops from Coleman Agriculture and barley from Goschie Farms malted in collaboration with our friends at Admiral Maltings. With aromas of guava and lychee and juicy notes of pineapple and red currant, this West Coast IPA finishes bright and clean. A beer for our planet, with every sip supporting the Native Fish Society, whose work supports the conservation of free-flowing rivers and wild fish populations throughout the Pacific Northwest and California.

Clear, medium gold color; somewhat sparse carbonation yet a thick, frothy head, white and lasting; sticky patches of foam cling to the inside of the glass. Fair nose; zesty and spicy in a low-key way. Classic west coast India pale ale flavor; gentle malt backbone with a touch of tongue-ripping hop bitterness; weedy, herbal hop taste. Medium body; crisp; gentle yet spirited tingle on the palate.
Overall, I do like this beer. It has all the hallmarks of being a well-made iteration of the classic WCIPA style. While the aroma is a bit of a let down, all other aspects do justice to the beer style.
ABV: 6.6%; pouring temperature: 42.9 °F; canning info: PKG 03/??/26

Look: Medium yellow in color and my pour initiates a white head to quickly form and settle to a lid, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Crushed pine needles, freshly cut sweet onion, pink grapefruit, blackberries, Cannabis, blueberries, tangerines, wet fir trees, and bready malt
Taste: Opens up with a huge hit of sweet onion and pine that hold the spotlight for a moment before citrus and berries roll in to join. Oranges, grapefruit, pomelo, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries all in play and really shine while skunky and fruity Cannabis weave in and out. Closes with onion, pine, dank, and a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full, very clean, medium-high carbonation, smooth, and a very light touch of dryness on the finish
Overall: This is outstanding stuff here. I will and actively work to try any and everything these folks make so scored this new IPA and already went and bought another 4-pack as this one is WAY up my alley. A delicious mix of hop aromas/flavors throughout and really well balanced and executed, as are most/all of pFriem’s offerings. Tasty, well-made, and highly recommended

Canned 4-3-25, purchased at the brewery. Pour is clean, unfiltered and produces a finger's worth of head. Aroma was great: earthy with gobs of fruit and floral notes, producing an outdoorsy experience. Taste is very dry, plentiful hop flavors with a moderate finish and durable carbonation. Just 6.6% ABV. Very tasty.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, foamy white head. Malty, biscuity aroma with some fruity hops. Taste is b ready, some citrus zest, earthy, mildly sweet with a dry finish. Slick, oily feel.

Clear amber brew with abundant foam in the Widmer Weizen glass. Aromatic with melon and peach. Tastes deliciously of apricot (green) and mango (ripe). Another excellent brew from pFriem. Adequate bitterness, but it's in the background. Fruit is the story, but it's not so sweet and it's utterly clean and crisp. I'm so glad to have seen this IPA-- restores faith in man and the brewers' arts. Worth going back for a multi-pack. From the 16 oz can purchased at Town & Country market. Dated 02/20/25.

On tap at a sports bar in San Deigo, served in a shaker. Bright berries and fruity citrus, Pilsner bready malt. Aggressively and brightly hopped, nice field-fresh bitterness. Very nice beer.
