Look: Bright and an almost pale yellow with a frothy head that settles to a pillow and holds, leaving rings of lacing on the rim
Aroma: Kiwi, grapes, blueberries, nectarine, apricot, passionfruit, gooseberries, and light bready malt
Taste: Opens up with grapes, blueberries, and kiwi that set the stage, hitting hard and settling in. Passionfruit, apricot, nectarine, and gooseberries filter into the mix in the middle and dance nicely until it closes out. Malt stays out of the way throughout
Mouthfeel: Light but full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean and crisp on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. These folks are pros and so I blindly try anything new they make, knowing it will be good, and that belief held true again with this one. It’s a great XPA with a really light malt body and low ABV, but also with a ton of flavor packed in. Delicious, quaffable, and recommended

Floral and hop forward, this is a good compromise between a lager, a pale ale, and an IPA. I’ve never heard of the style before, but it’s pretty good for the summer.

PFriem promotes this beer as an Austrialian version of an Extra Pale Ale, Pour is a straw colored beer, light head and moderate lacing. Nose is a light floral with stone fruit background. Very drinkable with modest bitterness and a longish finish. Just 5% ABV.

Clear and pale golden brew with abundant foam in the goblet. Aroma pops out with fresh hay and lime peel. Flavors are piney and on the dank side with a squeeze of lime. Body is thin and the taste is very dry with no apparent malt flavor. The citrus zing in the aftertaste is quite pleasing but the bitterness is rather severe for such a light beer. But it does melt away leaving you ready for another sip. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 03/21/25.
