Completely clear dark yellow brew with long-lasting foam in the Blanche de Chambly glass. Pleasant aroma of grapes and orange. Taste is fruity and sweet, but not sugary. It's more of an orange juice drink than a beer, but it's quite drinkable. Flavors of orange peel eventually take over. Moderate acidity level but enough to partially level out the sweet fruit, and very little bitterness. Overall this is a far better than average hazy, especially since it's not actually hazy! But count on pFriem to do a great job with any beer style they choose. From the 16 oz can dated 09/05/25.

Look: Medium orange and murky with a substantial head that settles slowly to a 1-finger lid and leaves intricate webs of lacing behind
Aroma: Limes, candied orange, pineapple (clear) Haribo gummy bears, nectarine, passionfruit, some pine, Cara cara orange, strawberry, and some bready malt
Taste: Opens up with a kick in the mouth from an onslaught of limes, candied and Cara cara orange, and pine that hits hard and begins to develop depth. Nectarine, pineapple gummies, and passionfruit enter and contend with the initial hit of hoppy goodness while berries and tropical fruit dance around in the background before closing as it started – with lime, orange, pine, and a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, clean, medium-high carbonation, and smooth on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. I saw Fresh Hop on the label so told my brain to ignore the ‘hazy’ part and buy it and I’m glad I did as it’s tasty. A really delicious blend of flavors that really pop and doesn’t drink like a typical Hazy IPA as far as feel goes. I have no clue what the FH varietal is here but it’s good and showcased well in this. Give this one a go, even if hazies aren’t your thing

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Foggy golden pour, small foamy white head fades to thick ring around the glass. Fruity aroma, light citrus, zesty notes. Taste turns over to mild tropical and stone fruit, with some light citrus zest lingering. Full bodied.

Pours near-clear soft gold color; a bit of haze; lively, small-bubble carbonation; thick head, white and frothy, fairly dense and long-lasting; sculpted foam cap. Tremendous nose; fresh tropical fruit with floral notes; citrus; peach and pineapple. The taste starts with a nice, mellow biscuit backbone that carries notes of candi sugar and citrus pith; earthy spiciness, black pepper, delicate star anise and cardamom, thyme; hints of tangerine and white grapefruit. Medium-heavy mouthfeel; lightly coarse on the palate; delicately dry; a bit of overall stickiness.
This is my kind of hazy beer. The main factor is that the bitterness isn't overwhelmingly brash or harsh. Beers with that characteristic comes across more one-dimensional, whereas this beer truly has depth and complexity. A lot of character and distinction make their presence and greatly add to the enjoyment of this beer.
ABV: 6.8%; pouring temperature: 49.4 °F; canning info: 09/05/25
