Old world farmhouse ale meets modern farm fresh hops in this tribute to PNW harvest season. Green, un-dried Citra hops are rushed from farm to brewery and added to a barrel aged wheat saison, resulting in notes of grapefruit, lychee and white tea.

Mildly cloudy light gold body; sparse, coarse streams of carbonation; fair head, white and dense yet patchy; rings and fingers of foam lace the glass. Sublimely balanced nose of gentle brett funk and wet white oak; hint of citrus. Incredible taste of soft wheat, lemongrass, white peppercorns, lemon. Medium bodied; soft with a delicate velvet feel; a touch of juiciness, a dab of dryness.
Simply - wow!!! What a gorgeous take on the saison beer style. The beer is incredibly nuanced and balanced, exuding brett funk, low-key barrel-aging, and elegantly refined flavors. Amazing!
ABV: 6.5%; pouring temperature: 43.5 °F; bottling info: looks like 23 11 25
