I visited Republic Brewing a couple months ago as part of my goal to visit a brewery in every county in Washington that has one to visit. They have a nice, cozy taproom with a bar made of bottle caps and lots of eclectic breweriana, along with tons of ceramic mug club mugs hanging from the ceiling and walls. The brewhouse is right there in the taproom, and they have a big roll up door with a small outside area out front, and a bigger outdoor area out back. There’s also a small shuffleboard table! Friendly service and plenty of regulars inside led to a nicely welcoming and convivial vibe.
There were 8 beers on tap on my visit, including a pale, a blonde, a couple IPAs, a stout, an amber, a porter, and a strong ale. The beers I had were decent enough, perhaps nothing to write home about, but certainly serviceable. It’s not like there’s any other game in town, but if you’re in Republic, it’s worth stopping in here!

In the middle of a remote north eastern Washington town. A former old brick firehouse. Really small shared room for brew kettles, tap bar and some tables. The brewer had good indie rock on the sound system. The brewery was 11 years old at the time of the visit in June. They also have beer to go on tap in a crowler size (32 ounce) that has a screw top and is reusable. Really a good place with really good beer.

Very pleasant atmosphere with great service with a lot of physical character inside. The selection on tap is very good for a small town. There is very little bottle selection to go.
