Ive been wanting to try this it is an ale matured in a single malt whisky cask and these guys dont produce much they are a nano brewery anyway it pours a dark black hue which leaves a two finger tanned head and a rimof lacing,the smell is whisky,peated malts,liquorice,aniseed and herbal hops,the mouthfeel is a let down unfortunately and lightbodied with tastes of dark fruits,liquorice and aniseed,peated malts and finished with a rather boring dryness and overall a big let down was looking forwards to it but its going to take more than maturing in whisky casks to make me come back cheers.
