On tap at Maloney's in Matawan, NJ.
A - Opaque, dark brown with about a finger of an off white head that sticks around throughout.
S - Chocolate, caramel, leather, tart cherries, green apples, some wood, and minor heat from the barrels. So much going on it's almost confusing.
T - Copy and paste the nose, but add some emphasis to the leather. Big leather. This beer is so damn complex. It's quite an adventure. Starts with some vanilla and tartness, moves on to the leather, finishes with nice roasty notes, chocolate, and the tartness again. This is incredible.
M - Right where you want it to be. Some body to it and low carbonation. A smooth, leathery feel to it.
O - So good. I don't even want to waste time typing anymore. I want to go back to my beer. Just read the rest of it. You'll get the picture. So complex without a hint of alcohol. Try it if you can.
