On tap @ Moeder-Lambic. Pours a murky red-brown color, with a small, fizzy head.
Aromas of wine, grapes, funk and sugar.
The beginning is surprisingly sparkling, followed up by a sour sting, which contains no tartness and brings out ripe grapes and cherries in an intriguing way. Flavors tend to get a bit sweeter and spicier, without loosing the balance of the beer, coated by bready malts and oak. Carbonation is lively, but fitting, creating a dry, smooth mouthfeel.
