Pours golden chill hazed with small white head falls quick no real lace.

Aroma is funky lightly acidic, tart, white grapes, herbal notes and earthy rhubarb of course not even sure wtf rhubarb smells like lol. Some dry wood from being aged in oak at least in the finish with the spices.

Taste follows the nose nice tart , funky notes white grapes, spice and rhubarb . Nice dry oaky finish with some spice and lingering funk.

Mouthfeel is light crisp and clean.

Overall a fruity dry saison with some light funk, enjoyable.

Label dated “L1 06.2021”
Hazed orange, ample sudsy foam though not lasting. Minor spotty lace. Aroma has some light rhubarb and subdued saison funkiness. Taste is lightly tart with balanced rhubarb acidity, rustic malted grains, earthy yeast, mild cheese rind, and a mellow dry finish. Barrel aging is pretty subdued in this batch, on fact it seems more malty than anything. Medium bodied with light carb and a supple feel. Overall it’s okay but I much prefer the √225.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like funky and herbal yeast character, rhubarb, honey, white wine, citrus, and peach.

The rhubarb is fairly subtle, and mainly props up that herbal/floral funk from the base beer. There's some white wine and grape-like character, a light honey sweetness, and a nice citrusy and stone fruit character as well.

This is light bodied and very clean, with a high drinkability, and only a slight lingering acidity.

Rhubarb was a subtle but perfect addition to a nearly perfect saison.

I've got very mixed feelings about this one. The rhubarb is great, there is a real nice brett nose but then you've got a very unpleasant aftertaste of wet rotten wood.

330ml swing top bottle. Best by date on label is '05.2020'.
Clear, pale gold colored body. First pour results in a one finger white head which quickly recedes to a ring and bubble fed island. No lacing.
Aroma has lots of funky yeast (rubber and leather), and a minor but noticeable note of rhubarb.
Taste expresses more of the slightly sour rhubarb fruit than in the smell, with the back end of the taste profile showing the funky yeast. Overall slightly fruity and slightly dry.
Medium mouth feel. Very good carbonation.
Very easy to quaff, and quite refreshing. Good balance of fruit and funk.

A 330ml flip-top bottle, lot 1, with a notched best before date of May 2020 on the front label. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.

Appearance: A hazy golden dark orange colour with a just over one finger white head that had decent retention while leaving behind some nice lacing.

Aroma: Nice funk, rhubarb, apricot, grape, lemon and wood.

Taste: Light funk, light sour, apricot, white grape, rhubarb, lemon, oak and spice on the finish.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with strong carbonation.

Overall: Great tasting rhubarb Saison with a good balance between sour, funk and fruitiness. Feels like I could just keep drinking this.
