Had a chance to taste this VERY small production. Took the La Madragon and created an Eisbock of it.
Hit 17% abv.
Pours DARK DARK DARK black. Absolutely no light visible though the beer. Very eligant head, thin, but lasting. The lacing is great.
Smells of roastedness, slight hits of coffee and toffee.
The taste is great. The alcohol is well hidden. Tastes almost lighter then the Madragon. Very nice, lasting after taste, but not overly bitter. almost a sense of chocolate but slightly less sweet.
Feels mediumly carbonated, very smooth.
Great beer, really enjoyed it. Don't think this one will get get distributed tho. Lucky to have it.
