The Eisbock of Cuvée Alex Le Rouge. Was very excited at first, but Madragon Eisbock seems more exciting.

Pours dark, with a hint of mahogany or dark ruby. Little to no head. I should have poured more vigerously, but there is no lace, no head. Just small traces of both around the edge of the glass.

Smalls nice, but no strong notes. Slight hits of vanilla and a bit of sweetness.

Tastes slightly alcoholic, with an almost oaky taste.

Very smooth at first, then a slight tingle of alcohol. Low in carbonation, but silky.

I prefer the regular Alex, but still glad to taste this.
