Look: It pours brown with a bit of clouding. It has a white head with very low head retention.
Smell: It has strong smoky aromas with grapes and moderate sourness. There are some bacon elements.
Taste: The smoke and bacon are the strongest flavors with grapes coming in second. There are some wine elements and strong alcohol as well.
Feel: It has a medium body with a moderately sour aftertaste.
Overall, this is a very unique and interesting beer. It’s not one that I would drink in large quantities as a good to beer, but for unique flavors it is a good one off beer.

This one opens with no pop or sound at all – it’s probably very flat. It has a dark brown body, with no head or lacing.
This smells like cheap red wine and vinegar.
I usually absolutely love the Bon Chien series, but this is maybe just too old. It’s completely flat, and that really affects the flavor. There’s just an overwhelming flavor of stale bread soaked in red wine vinegar – it’s also somewhat oxidized.
This is not really drinkable at all, with intense acidity and a flabby flat finish.
This can be completely avoided at this point.
