500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Crystal clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of wheat malts, grain, dust, caramel, yeasty notes of banana and cloves. The flavour has notes of citrus, caramel and surprisingly distinct earthy and medicinal hops, hints of banana and cloves.

500ml bottle.
L: Crystal clear. Rich amber colour with a single stream of micro bubbles. The snow white head is disappointingly small and short-lived for a wheat beer but it leaves plenty of lacing.
S: Light fragrance of pale malt, banana & clove.
T: Banana and phenols present in abundance. More than anticipated from the aroma. Some bubblegum as well. Moderate bitterness with hint of sweetness right at the end.
F: Medium/rich body with a dry finish. Carbonation is light.
O: Enjoyable Brit version of a kristallweizen. Not a full-blooded wheat beer, more a wheat/golden ale hybrid. It works though. Good summer ale.

L- Darkish copper/brown, clear, pours with 5mm white head, holds well and forms lacing.
S- The spicy nose you'd expect from a wheat beer.
T- I certainly get banana, that's really prominent for me.
F- Good balance between hops and some meaty sense of body. Carbonation in the mouth is good.
O- This reminds me of solid German Weissbraus. Spice and body finding a decent balance with sufficient ABV%. Launched by the brewery in Spring 2019 I only saw it for the first time in Dec-19, but due to it's ABV and balance I reckon it a pretty versatile year-round beer.
BB: 16/07/2020 Bought from Waitrose/UK in a 4pack of different beers from this brewery.
ps. The usual oval flask shaped bottle, with a red/orange lable.
